Sunday, my favorite day of the week...only better when my 14 year old and I hang out all day and have a great day. Being 14 those are few and far between here lately!!

I have an INTERVIEW!!!!

Got a phone call this afternoon and I have an interview tomorrow at 12:30pm!! Yippee!!!

This stay at home mom stuff isn't all it is cracked up to be...i do more "running mom" than anything!! Anyway, the interview is for a good company that has been around for a long time. It is an HR position...so I am keeping my fingers crossed. It is in the same town that I was working in so it will still be about a 30 minute drive...not bad though!

WOW...WOW...and WOW again!

Well as of 1pm today I officially became one of the many many unemployed.....I am pissed, i have cried, i have cried some more...now i guess i need to put on my big girl pants and dig in! What is really frustrating though? When you get laid off from the STAFFING industry...you tend to be discouraged in job hunting before you even begin...since you know better than anyone...there are few jobs to be had right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As if Facebook isn't addicting enough...i being the nosey person that I am...I have to go searching for something else that is addicting. People already warned me...but I just had to go see for myself...and now I have yet another addiction.....FARKLE!!! Have you tried it? However will I fit school, work, Facebook, Pogo. dinner, kids, boyfriend....and now FARKLE into one day? I am tired just thinking about it. I think I will go Farkle and stew on it for awhile!

This is Friday and this has beena week from hell so....that fact that it is almost over is great news for me!!

We watched Step Brothers for about the 7th time now...but I so love that movie!!!

I could probably do one for baseball but I don't have a very good voice for that type of thing so I think you would turn me off pretty quickly!
6. What makes you feel better when you're sick?
hot tea, and I still like to color when I am sick...i am not sure what it is about coloring when you are sick, but it is so soothing for me.
7. What do you listen to in the car?
Mostly CD's taht I have burnt myself so that I can listen to a variety, right now I am loving Thriving Ivory, Angels on the Moon

brownie, pizza, taco bell, and the other 2 would be from the day before yesterday and I really can't remember!

My HS sweetheart, Matt, we actually went to Homecomings and Proms together until our senior year!

Mrs. Morrison, i had her in 1st and 3rd grade actually.

3, my best friend in HS and my sisters....5 counting my own!

Well...it depends on what kind of list this is....if it is a hit list I can not narrow it down to 3 peopel this week....if it is an "A" list it would have to be my kids, Mike and Vince Vaughn!

lol...my kids and I used to do this every night before we would go to sleep...we came up with some pretty funny things...but the last one I would always say to them is, "I love you more than a trillion grains of sand and taht is more than you will ever know!"

my mom taking my picture out by the car before taking me to school

Money is the root of all evil...it is nice to have but it doesn't last and when there isn't enough it causes things to fall apart...i would pick LOVE over money any day!

Introducing our newest family member.....

her name is MJ...my mom found her outside the nursing home where she works...and since they have pretty much kidnapped...(haha)...our other cat Tango... MJ is now ours...she is only 6 weeks old.

Loving my life right now!

I am totally loving my life right now. I have an awesome family, a great boyfriend and a sweet house! Life for me has not been this great for a long long time! Work is good, getting busy, home is wonderful, school is going just fine. My kids are healthy...my 14 year old could outgrow this funk she is in any minute now...but she will come around.

I guess I just wanted everyone to know that I am loving life! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

Out of the mouths of......9 year olds?

I was taking a bath last night, which when i do so I am ALWAYS accompanied by my 9 year old daughter. Ever since she was a baby she has sat in the bathroom with me while I take a bath....not sure why...but anyway...I was sitting in the tub washing and talking when all of the sudden she says,"why do you have VINES there?" (pointing at my chest). I look down and I am like, "What? Vines?, I don't have any Vines on me."
She points again and says. "right there, those blue things, vines...."
I said, "do you mean VEINS?" ,
she said, "yea, whatever those are called."
I am like, "you are going into 4th grade and you thought all this time that those things are caleed VINES?"

I was shocked!! lol This is my child that is, or so I thought, a little more advances than most 9 year olds! Too funny!

The Secret Life of....SEX

Last night I was putting some things away in the dining room and kept hearing, "sex blah blah blah sex blah blah blah sex...i started counting, in about a minute in a half conversation on TV I counted the word Sex about 11 times. I walked in to see what my 9 year old was watching....The Secret Life of an American Teenager....I said what in the world, can they say SEX anymore? What is the deal? I don't know much about this show, it looked like a decent show, looked ok for kids...but can we promote SEX anymore? I am going to have to to some You Tubing of the past episode I think!!! Does anyone watch this show? I am going to watch it next Monday jsut so I can count from the beginning how many times they say SEX!!!
