Tell all Tuesday

Since I am pretty new to all of this blogging thing and just really starting to get the hang of it, I must admit it is ADDICTING!! AND...I won my first thing ever from Mission Monday!! How cool is that? I won that great bag that Deb was giving away over here!!
My sister started doing this and I would read hers everyday. I started doing it but wasn't sure where she was finding all these neat people who were commenting on her blogs. So I started getting a little nosier, which is something I do quite well if I don't say so myself. And now I am looking into Bloggers Anonymous!!

Anyway I thought I would share a little about myself for all of my new blog friends.

I am a single mother of 2 beautiful, wonderful daughters. Which has been quite challenging to say the least! Single moms.....my hats off to you! My oldest, who I will refer to as TA, for Teenage Attitude, will be 14 in February. My youngest who we will call DQ for Drama Queen, will be 9 on Monday. They are the most important people in my life, if it wasn't for them I don't know where I would be today. I used to be ashamed to admit it, yes, I have been married 2 times. Each time I married for the wrong reasons, I made a mistake, or 2, (haha) but who hasn't? I have learned from it and I have moved on. If it wasn't for those "wonderful" marriages, I wouldn't have my girls! My boyfriend and I have been together for about a year. I knew him about 18 years ago. He left the day after he graduated to go to the Marines. I heard from him one time, about 13 years ago, then reconnected with him thru Myspace about a year ago. We already knew each other so we just had to catch up! He lived in the town where I now work and eventually moved in with me. He has a son who is 7. John (thats my bf's name by the way) works construction for a local construction company. He treats me great, treats my kids great and is my best friend. I am content and very happy for the first time in a long time!
I work as a Staffing specialist for a staffing company. I love my job, but hate the drive, it is about 40 minutes away. I know that isn't far for some people, but for me it is. So yesterday I had an interview at a place that is in the same town that I live in, keeping my fingers crossed. I feel that the interview went well. (It better have, since interviewing people is what I do for a living, I had better be able to interview myself!!) Anyway, I will keep you posted in that.
I have lived in the same town all my life. I am the oldest of 4, I have 2 sisters and a brother. The brother is 15 years younger than I am....I believe he was a "surprise" baby!! About 3 years ago my sister, the next to oldest, moved to California with her husband and kids. That was the first "big" move for anyone in our family. We are a close family so that was an adjustment, but what an adventure for them!! If I could do it I certainly would. That sister is the one that got me turned on to Blogging. Can anyone guess who it is? I don't have anything to give away as a prize, but it can still be fun! I will give you a hint, she is a "mommy"...lol. My other sister lives here still with her new husband and her dogs! She just had a beautiful wedding in February!!
That is about all I can think right now about "me". I am at work and should probably get to working :), but this is so much more fun! If anyone has any questions or wants to know anything about me, just ask. I like to talk, share stories and get to know other people.
Thanks for taking the time to read about me and my family!! I love reading each and everyone of your blogs, love the new ideas and information. My boyfirned probably doesn't care for all of you as much, since I am on the computer reading alot at night...but he will be ok!! (Love you John) - that should make things better!
Have a great day everyone!!

I was the first "big move" in our family, though not as far as California. My brother followed a few years ago but he still lives close enough that he's expected home for all holidays and a lot of weekends. Blogs are definitely a great way to keep in touch!

I didn't realize that was you who won! How exciting!

And it's great to get to know you.

Also, I love Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant. It gives me goosebumps.

I'm pretty new to blogging too (about a 2 months) and I admit it's completely addicting. I love reading them so much and that's where it all began. It's fun to find new bloggy friends, isn't it?

And congrats on the Mission Monday win! I've played a couple of times and you beat me out this week! That's ok, there's always next week. ;)

Wow! Thanks for sharing this little bit about you. I tip my hat to you and all single moms out there doing their thing. I have a cousin who was a single mom of 3 (until she got married) and she always amazed me!
I too have a YOUNGER brother. He is 13 years my junior and an "oops" baby! LOL

Welcome to the blogging world. Just a warning, it gets addictive. I was a single Mom at one point, and it can be difficult, but it can also be really rewarding. My kids are grown now, and I don't know how I ever could have gotten through things if it wasn't for them. They have been such a blessing to me.
