I just wanted to take a second to Thank all of my blogger buddies, and my family for all the birthday wishes yesterday. And all the comments on my "Saucy" blog yesterday....192 comments!! You guys rock!! Thanks so much and I am trying to get around to all my new followers too!! You guys are all the best!!

It's My day!!

When Heather emailed me to ask me if she could feature me this Wednesday I was soo excited!! Not only because I got to be featured on SITS, the best blogging community around...but because I was getting featured on Wednesday March 25th....my BIRTHDAY!! How very special is that? Pretty special if I don't say so myself!
I love blogging so much!! It has been such a release for me as well as a great opportunity to meet some wonderful, remarkable, truly talented people! Who knew that something would become so addicting and so much fun. On so many days my blog has been my best friend! On days when I thought..."why bother?" Some of my followers and their comments have meant so very much...you don't even know!!
So...if you haven't ever checked out SITS...get over their and check those girls out...they are an awesome team and I feel so privileged to be a part of their community as well as the Welcomistas!!

Tuesday's Tribute

Yet Another Jay and Deb Production. Dear Aunt Cheryl,You were one of the best aunts a kid could ask for!! I have such fun memories of you and that huge St Bernard, Rugby, when you lived beside PooPaw's store. I remember staying all night at your house and being scared to death of that dog! Speaking of being scared to death. You were the easiest person in the world to scare also. I will never forget the many times us kids and later on grandkids would "scare" you just because you were so fun and easy to do that to. The memories I have of Christmases and Christmas eve's at the Hall's all include you and your spoiling and loving ways. The stories I hear from Dad and your brothers about you crack me up. You may not have had an easy life and had your share of heartache and bad luck...but you always pulled through and came out on top. I will never forget you and all that you meant to our family. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten!! Tell MeeMaw, PooPaw and Grandma Walker hi and we love and miss them more than ever!I love you Cheryl!!R.I.P

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

• I did not do absolutely anything on Saturday...that would be so lazy...but it would fell so great!

• I did not say from the time i woke up o Saturday and was still saying at 4:18pm that i was going to color my hair...talk about procrastinating.

• I did not freak out alittle when i came home from work Friday to find my back door open but locked...still wondering about this one.

• I did not totally blow off Weight watchers Saturday morning after missing it Thursday to go to my daughter's Karate...back on track this week!!I have worked too hard to let this go!!

• I did not veg out on the couch Saturday afternoon and watch a 4 hour Lifetime movie...and loved every last second of it!!

• I did not play Canasta way too much Saturday....till 11pm at least...I am NOT addicted!

• I did not start reading a new book at 11pm Saturday night and stay up until 130am because i didn't want to put it down.

• I did not scream at the top of my lungs, "there is a mouse down here!" when the mouse was clearly poisoned and barely moving...what a girly thing to do!

No more ROOTS!!!

Talk about procrastination...I should have taken a before picture so you could have seen how hideous!!!

All fixed...now back to your regularly scheduled programming!

Mice Schmice!!

I hate mice....loathe them...would rather deal with anything but mice.
I knew we had some as I had seen the droppings when we move in, although the house had set empty for about 4 months before hand.
I heard them in the walls one night and we got traps and poison etc. No more noises, signs of them nor did we catch any then, that was about a month ago...i figured they just moved on.

Today as I was sitting here playing my beloved Canasta on Pogo i saw something out of the corner of my eye. Before i even looked i knew what it was. It was moving extremely slow and alittle "drunk" looking. It had clearly gotten into the poison. Of course I screamed, "there is a mouse down here!", like a little girl. John came down and got it and threw it outside...this mouse didn't have a clue as to what was going on. Then I decided that the furnace filter needed changed, it was looking pretty bad. Lo and behold a dead baby mouse, behind the filter!

So we went into the tool room, unfinished part of the basement. One of the sticky traps that WAS under the furnace at one time was drug clear across the room over to the tool bench with dirt, bugs and mouse droppings on it. Obviously the oblivious mouse had gotten OUT of that trap in it's drunken stupor! I was too frazzled to take pics...but I am sure you are all thanking me for that!

Six Word Saturday

Time for 6 word Saturday. I missed it last week...shhhhh...i think it went by unnoticed. Don't tell Cate over a Show My Face...since she is the hostess with the mostess and all...maybe she won't even notice!!






I'm relaxing today...playing blog catchup!!!

Where have you been?

I am still here, i have just not had anytime it seems lately. I don't know why, I haven't taken on any other task, habits, or hobbies. Work has started picking up and when i get home it is usually the DVR calling my name lately. Nothing interesting or fun going on here, nothing new.....except for I did lose 6.8 more pounds last week at WW!!! I haven't gone yet this week, will be going tomorrow morning....so that is going well!! I have lost 17.8 total so far!!!

This weekend I plan on spending some time with my blog....just me and my blog...and of course all of you. I will be playing catch up and comment catch up etc. Hopefully I will get all caught up and back in the swing of things...maybe even, if i am real good, get some posts scheduled for Not Me Monday and Tuesday's Tribute etc.....we will see.

In the meantime I have decided to do a question and answer post too. I will see depending on how many questions I get as to how often i will post them.....so start asking away!!! Just shoot me an email to angib72 at gmail dot com, please put "QUESTION" in the subject line so i can weed them all out easier!!

Tuesday's Tribute

I would like to take this tribute this Tuesday to a wonderful blog friend. She is a great person who is so caring and thoughtful and puts so much time in to things that she really doesn't have to do. Most recently she organized and hosted a "Favorite Things Swap" which couldn't have been an easy task by any means. I believe she had well over 100 swappers participate. She just went to NY for " Fishful Thinking" (read ablut that on her blog as well). Her blog is beautiful and full of fun ideas and information. If you have never checked her out you need to...she is amazing!! I would like to thank her for the great Swap that she just organized...which i believe she is hosting another one soon...you will just have to go check her out if you haven't already!! She does month prize drawings for all of her followers as well...grab her button and follow her!!

I got the LOOT!!!

I got mine today!!

My package arrived today from Shawnee!!! She did awesome! Alot of her favorite things are my favorite things too! She sent a book by an author that I just checked out of the library today!! The floss thingys I use all the time, the girl scout cookies didn't even make it in the picture because my daughter ran off with them immediately! Have been meaning to pick up the Tide stick...now i don't have to, and the scrapping book....love it!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Monday, Monday

Did you all have a good weekend?

• I hope so. I had to work all weekend, but i get to do it from home. There are about 6 of us in our company that take turns working them. I don't mind it, all we have to do is answer phones and call and check on a few companies. We have the phones on from 7am - 7pm, but we get paid well for it. This isn't a real busy time of the year so it isn't too bad.
• I read a book on Saturday...yep a whole book. Sitting on my back porch in the beautiful 70 degree weather, work phone beside me, diet pepsi on the other side...and finished the whole thing. It was by Karen Kingsbury, This Side Of Heaven. I have never read her before and really enjoyed it. So much so I went to the lobrary at lunch today and got 2 more of her books!!
• Sunday the kiddos came home from the dad's. We palyed about 5 games of Skipbo. My youngest loves to win...and sometimes if she isn't winning, she will make the rules up to accomodate her winning!! So it is always fun!

Dear Jason,

At first I was attracted to your smile, your intelligence and your charm. I wasted every Monday night for several weeks watching you, feeling sorry for you because of the whole DeAnna thing, hoping you found the "right" one . After last night, you have made me sick! YOU are a JERK. Or, scumbag...or sleaze ball....or whatever you feel to insert here . I often wondered why you had gotten divorced in the 1st place, thought, "wow, she must have been horrible"...lol now i am not so sure it was HER!! Maybe you weren't "feeling" it for her wither....huh? I truly believe that you are a "man" who likes to see how many women he can get to "fall" for him....then move on...that is clearly what you have portrayed yourself to be and you should be ASHAMED!!! Stop your crying, quit running away when the going gets tough and be a man!! I hope I have seen the last of your, lying, squirrely (if that is a word), egotistical, shallow, pompous ass.....after tonight of course!! lol
